The Cape Institute of Teaching and Leadership in Kuils River is the venue for 47 Heads of Department (HoD) attending a two week course which covers Management & Leadership, Roles & Responsibilities, Personal & Professional Planning, Change, Managing Administration,, Teambuilding and Coaching & Mentoring. The course is full of daily reviews and assignments for portfolios but the spirit amongst the group is very high and they are working really hard. They are presently half way through the course that is fully interactive and participative.
